Aerials Express to Unveil “MASCOT” at ICSC Convention

ICSC Spring Convention—May 24, 2004 - Aerials Express LLC, the leading national aerial photography firm, will unveil its “MASCOT” at this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers Spring (ICSC) Convention in Las Vegas. A 2004 Lincoln Navigator adorned with aerial photography, will be used to acquaint ICSC attendees with its new product, Mobile Aerial Solutions™ (MAS).

Mobile Aerial Solutions™ allows real estate professionals to bring an advanced aerial-based mapping system on site tours with their clients. Mobile Aerial Solutions ties the US Military’s Global Positioning System (GPS), to Aerials Express’ high resolution color aerial photography through a simple interface customized for mobility.

“It’s like having a spy satellite follow you as you’re driving a market,” according to Aerials Express founder and CEO, Jerry Landis. “Vehicle navigation systems are becoming more common place, but basic line maps give very little information other that where you are located. The addition of aerial photography let’s you see everything from tree lined streets, to the size of parking lots, to the proximity of residential neighborhoods, a key aspect to retail site location strategy.”

ICSC attendants will have the opportunity to test the new mobile, aerial-based mapping system first hand. The Aerials Express Navigator, equipped with two built-in high-definition video monitors and laptop computer will be available for test drives, outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center May 23rd through the 25th. “We went a little overboard on the vehicle,” says Landis. “But we wanted to dazzle our clients. Mobile Aerial SolutionsTM will impress anyone when installed on most laptops or a tablet PC.”

Aerials Express, LLC was founded in Tempe, Arizona by Jerry Landis, a pioneer of aerial photography since 1958. Aerials Express provides true color, high-resolution, seamless, digital, ortho-rectified, aerial photography to private companies, local and federal government organizations nationwide.
