Kristina Ilcuk Joins Jenny Pruitt & Associates, Inc. Realtors
Kristina Ilcuk recently joined Jenny Pruitt & Associates, Inc. as an independant contract associate and Realtor. Kristina is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Georgia Board of Realtors, and Atlanta Board of Realtors. Kristina is also a certified E-Agent. Kristina left Surgical Information Systems in December 2003 to pursue independent contract work on her favorite past time, website development, and a career in Real Estate sales & appraisal.
"After 10 years in IT, I was ready for a change. I have always enjoyed running my own business and had begun to build my own business before 9/11. I returned to traditional, full time work in Alpharetta after the 9/11 tragedy and following economic crash.
"My husband lost his job of 9 years with a legal case management software company he helped to build & drive to success. It was a difficult time for him," says Kristina. "He invested so much of himself in that company. Regardless of his expertise and experience, it took him 6 months to find a job again. It was very difficult."
"Surgical Information Systems, Inc. created a position for me in the Technical Support department. One year later, I was promoted to Quality Assurance Analyst. I traveled to India to work with our new Quality Assurance and Software Development team in Hyderabad. It was a wonderful experience. The Indian culture is so rich, interesting, and friendly. I still maintain contact with some of my former co-workers in India."
Kristina mentioned, "I was very grateful to Surgical Information Systems for the opportunity there. It served me and my family very well. It helped us stay above water during tough economic times, enhanced my skills, and I made a lot of new friends and acquaintances there.
"Relocating would have been even more difficult had it not been for supportive friends and co-workers at SIS. Now, as a Realtor, I hope to help other families make relocation much easier than mine was!"
Kristina concluded, "My new associates at Jenny Pruitt & Associates, Inc., are just as wonderful. Jenny Pruitt & Associates, Inc. has very high standards for their Realtors and I appreciate that.
"The company was recently purchased by HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate. This company is owned by Warren Buffet. So, it is an interesting and very positive company to work with. I am learning something new every day. They put a lot of effort into developing new agents."
Kristina spends her free time writing, doing web development, enjoying her family, and networking in the community.
