California Traditions: Upcoming Release of New Homes at Montreux
Later this month, California Traditions Inc. (CTI) will be releasing several more homes for sale at Montreux, its latest private, gated community offering the charm and serenity of European country and Tuscan living. Nestled in a rural enclave just north of Escondido, Montreux features a collection of 66 single-story estate homes graciously spread over 147 acres of scenic hills and valleys. The previous two phases sold out almost immediately.
Priced from the high $600’s, Montreux offers three distinct, one-story floor plans spanning 2,944 – 3,547 square feet and featuring up to five bedrooms and four and a half bath options. Styled to reflect the European and Tuscan countrysides, estates reside on minimum one-acre home sites positioned at varying elevations to maximize privacy and offer expansive views of the natural landscape. Residents of Montreux will savor the tranquility of this secluded setting, while still benefiting from the convenience of nearby freeways, schools, golf courses and Escondido’s commercial center.
“People appreciate open space where they live, and our incredible sales interest is a reflection of that desire,” said Dina Clark, vice president and regional sales manager for Ryness, the exclusive agency handling sales. “Montreux works because it offers homeowners their own special part of the landscape and the peaceful quiet of back country.”
Montreux’s exquisite exterior designs range from eight-foot raised panel entry doors and premium tile roofs to lighting fixtures inspired by the community’s European and Tuscan flair. Interior details such as wood burning, gas fireplaces and cast-iron sinks also add a special touch to its appeal.
While giving prospective homebuyers the feel of the Old World, the community is also quick to offer the amenities of modern-day living. Dual-zone heating and air conditioning systems, Category-5 wiring for high-speed data transmission, circulating hot water and silent-touch Decora light switches are standard features with every model. Energy saving appointments like set back thermostats, dual glazed vinyl windows with Low-E glass and 75-gallon propane hot water heaters are also included.
Adding to Montreux’s exceptional value are gourmet kitchens with pantries and Whirlpool Gold Series appliances and master suites with designer lighting and two oversized walk-in closets. Attached, split three-car garages are available with every plan, and due to the luxury of space, residents of Montreux can also opt for additional enhancements such as outdoor verandas and home theatres. Buyers can further customize their selections with optional enhancements including French doors, wine cabinet, built-in 42” refrigerator with matching door panels, KitchenAid appliances, granite countertops, intercom, security and central vacuum systems.
For people who prefer open air, privacy and backcountry, Montreux is the place to be. Model homes are open for public viewing daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To experience this scenic community firsthand, just follow these simple directions:
