Integrated facility system will streamline First Health’s facility operations

Evolved Systems, Inc. (dba Supply and Service), provider of facility operations technology, announced today they have completed the implementation of softWrench and MAXIMO®, facility integrated system for First Health’s Southwest Region.

First Health is a unique, national managed-care company serving the group health, workers' compensation and state public program markets. Founded in 1982, First Health serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Prior to the facility application implementation, First Health did not have a consolidated platform to support facility management operations. They wanted to fix this by implementing a comprehensive facilities management business system that would support all of their facility operations nation-wide.

MAXIMO, the industry leading computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and softWrench, facilities intranet portal and work management solution, were selected for their powerful functionality, simple utilities and seamless integration into other applications. Supply and Service has completed the implementation of the applications and is currently in the process of training facility and general users. Ongoing support will also be provided to First Heath via their dedicated project manager and online support.

“It has been a real pleasure working with First Health on their integration and national rollout of softWrench and MAXIMO.” commented Ted Ritter, President of Supply and Service. “With the guidance of our team, the integration has gone very well and we expect to have the rest of the regions utilizing the same solution by the end of summer 2004.”

By implementing these systems, First Health will reduce response times, increase management controls, and provide an online communication tool for requestors to submit, update and view requests 24/7.
