AmericasHomeShowcase.com Rolls Out National Real Estate Marketing Platform

Dayton, OH August 3, 2004 -- The public has embraced the internet as a means to locate homes for sale. However, until now home buyers were forced to search many different websites. These sites often specialized in a specific type of property or seller; by agent, by owner, new home builder or bank foreclosure. Each presented the user a different interface and functionality depending on its content. Many of these specialized sites are national in scope but fail to recognize, and assist with, the differences in customs of buying and selling a home in each local market.

AmericasHomeShowcase.com provides a single national standard and format to find properties for sale regardless of the type of seller as well as real estate information through a nationwide network of partnerships with local industry experts. The project manager, Steven Stackman, a 19 year veteran of the real estate industry stated “The AmericasHomeShowcase.com difference, to paraphrase the old saying ‘all politics is local’, is ‘all real estate is local’. Although the real estate industry is regulated by many federal and state laws it is equally driven by local customs. What may be standard practice in one area may be unheard of in another.” Being a real estate website not affiliated with any one real estate company or type of seller, while providing free local expert advice on all aspects of the buying and selling process makes this unique on a national level, he continued.

The concept of a multi seller local real estate sales and information site has been well received in its three test markets of Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio and Phoenix Arizona. Market expansion is currently underway on a national basis. AmericasHomeShowcase.com is actively seeking local partnerships in all areas. The time to setup and integrate a local home showcase website is approximately 5 days from the time a local partnership is established. All major metropolitan areas are expected to be represented on the platform by the end of the year according to Stackman.
