RealBird – A Division of DonationChannel Inc. – Releases RealBird™ 2.0
Redwood City, CA October 6, 2004 -- RealBird announces today the release of RealBird 2.0, a fully web based mapping and GIS tool targeted for real estate agents and brokers. Version 2.0 adds significant new features to the RealBird Enhanced Viewer, making it the only such tool that is both very affordable and scalable and can be easily used by individual agents, brokers, IDX integrators, MLSs and appraisers.
RealBird 2.0 costs only $150/year, is very simple to use and has these features:
-Street / aerial/ topo maps with full U.S. coverage and address mapping in a large (600x400 pix) window with no advertising. All maps included.
-Driving directions
-Integrated Environmental map (EPA Enviromapper) showing environmental hazards for air quality, surface and underground pollution hazards and more.
-LINKING TO FEATURED PROPERTY LISTINGS: Agents can link their listings to their own branded aerial maps with full zoom and pan controls
-ON-THE-FLY linking of listings for MLSs and IDX listings (on-the-fly geocoding is offered at extra cost)
-EMBEDDED SCHOOLS DATABASE WITH AUTOMATIC GOOGLE® LINKS to school info. With one click, clients can display the location of local schools, then click on the links to see detailed information via Google queries.
-EMBEDDED USGS LANDMARKS DATABASE: churches, parks, shopping areas, etc.
-OWN sub-domain name for each user, like http://seattlehome.realbird.com
-Integrated Yellow InfoUSA pages
-Integrated Census county demographics
-Parcel overlay in selected counties
-Built-in lead collector
-Poster size aerial maps retrieval
-Viewer configuration tool – allows customizing of the viewer
-Measuring tool on aerial maps – lengths of curves, lines, and areas (custom feature, enabled for special users only)
