Tucson Real Estate Growing, Arizona’s ‘Experts’ Prepare
February 2, 2005 -- The December 2004 review by Tucson Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service, Inc. (TARMLS) reported that the end of the year figures showed a dramatic increase in the Tucson, Arizona real estate market over the previous year. The total sales volume rose 55.1%, and the number of homes sold increased from 965 units in November 2004 to 1,209 units in December.
The review also indicated that average days on the Tucson real estate market decreased, with 58% of all homes in the Tucson area sold within the first 30 days of listing, and a more than 22% increase in active listings over the previous month.
According to the 2004 TARMLS report, the monthly home sales figures once again show a great increase over the prior year, and all indications show that the 2005 Tucson real estate market will bring more of the same.
