Adventure Studios LLC Introduces "Marvel Places" Location-Based Entertainment Licensing Program
Westlake Village, CA March 14, 2005 -- Adventure Studios LLC unveiled its "Marvel Places Licensing Program," featuring an array of products and services for a variety of out-of-home entertainment and recreation venues.
"This is truly an exciting program that allows licensees to benefit from Marvel’s world-wide awareness and marketing prowess," said Amy Giggins, Adventure Studios’ Director of Marketing, "with Spiderman now at an unprecedented level of popularity, and other Marvel characters also featured in top movie box office releases, the Marvel library provides a tremendous basis for all manner of placed-based licensing."
"The Marvel Places program includes licensed products for full or partial retrofit of existing facilities," said Don Bredberg, Adventure Studios Managing Director, "as well as products and services for traveling exhibits, live shows, marketing services, soft activity programming, and a unique new "Marvel in Your Life" program for multi-unit retail and restaurant venue operators."
The Adventure Studios program, created under exclusive arrangement with Marvel Enterprises, Inc., included six months of intensive research and concept development, to allow "Marvel Places" products and services to offer the highest possible cost-benefit result to licensees. We have created a licensed kid’s play area for shopping centers, a slide and soak area for water parks, a Halloween traveling attraction, a Marvel stunt show for various venues, a variety of licensed Coaster products for regional themed amusement parks, and a number of other unique concepts.
"We have an exciting presentation for interested licensees that we’ll be bringing to the major industry conventions this year," said Amy Giggins, "we’ve also structured the program in a manner that allows licensees to realize immediate benefits from Marvel marketing services, as a facility waits for an exhibit or permanent venue to be fabricated or constructed."
