Park La Brea Apartments Leads New Luxury Suite Trend Despite Swelling Occupancies
Los Angeles, CA July 20, 2005 -- Despite swelling Southern California apartment occupancy rates, Park La Brea Apartments is leading the luxury suite renovation trend hitting the market with the launching of its "Signature Collection." According to Reis Transaction Monitor, the Los Angeles apartment market had the lowest area vacancy, which at 3.4 percent ranks fourth in the country among the top 64 apartment markets. Contributing to the successful rental market is the high and rising cost of homeownership in Los Angeles – with the median sales price for existing single-family homes up 24 percent from last year according to the National Association of REALTORS.
