Arizona Mortgage Banker Leads Way for Nation’s Mortgage Companies to Assist Red Cross

Hurricane Katrina probably killed thousands of people in New Orleans, the mayor said Wednesday - an estimate that, if accurate, would make the storm the nation's deadliest natural disaster since at least the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.

Hal Jolley, President of Phoenix Arizona’s Blue Financial says, “As mortgage bankers and brokers, we earn our living by assisting people with the American Dream. Hurricane Katrina has stolen that dream for many people throughout New Orleans and the surrounding areas. We would like to challenge every mortgage banker and broker in the United States to match our $1,000 contribution to the American Red Cross for their clean-up and humanitarian efforts due to this very horrific event."

Blue Financial will be donating $1,000 to the American Red Cross, and hope that many other mortgage companies and mortgage bankers throughout the United States follow their lead. Jolley challenges all mortgage bankers and Brokers to match their $1,000 donation to help the people throughout the New Orleans area.

Jolley says, “If every licensed mortgage banker and broker in our country followed our lead, we could use this very challenging situation to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help our fellow Americans in this time of trouble.
