American Apartment Owners Association Unveils Updated Vendor Directory
The American Apartment Owners Association, the nation’s leading landlord and income property owner association, today released its latest version of its vendor directory. The directory had already boasted nearly 20,000 vendor members but now offers a more complete description, discount coupons for members and more variety of categories. The new national vendor directory has more than 80 different categories with participating vendors in every state. The American Apartment Owners Association vendor directory is believed to be the largest of its kind.
Available only to property management companies, income property and landlords that have joined AAOA, the directory has long been recognized as a prime resource to locate contractors, suppliers, real estate attorneys, and virtually any other professional an apartment owner or manager may need.
“The new vendor directory will significantly help our members locate qualified professionals seeking to offer services and bid their jobs,” said David Edwards, Director of Member Services for AAOA.
As for vendors, the new directory is fully automated and posts vendor information in real time. This allows vendors the opportunity to compete for landlord business in their community or nationwide. With approximately 500 geographic subdivisions, a contractor or vendor registering in the directory can zero in on specific localities or elect to be in as many as they desire. The new service provides maximum flexibility and exposure while providing excellent information for landlords. Giving the vendors an opportunity to provide online discount coupons, display their websites and communicate with members via email are all enhancements to the new directory. According to Edwards, the AAOA believes it will be adding another 15,000 vendors to the directory over the next 12 months.
“The vendor directory is the backbone of the association,” claims Edwards. The American Apartment Owners Association also offers discounted tenant screening, lower rate mortgages and insurance as well as an array of legal forms, supplies and online news for real estate investors. According to Edwards, the American Apartment Owners Association maintains the largest apartment owner database of its kind and serves landlords nationwide.
