Meridian Financial Welcomes Matt Kirby as Vice President
Meridian Financial Services Ltd. is pleased to announce its new Vice President of Franchise Operations, Matt Kirby. As an innovator in the franchising of mortgage brokerage offices and a dominant player in Western Canada, Meridian now has the additional integral component on its management team to take Meridian to the next level.

As Vice President of Franchise Operations, Mr. Kirby will develop the franchising and broker recruitment efforts to continue the company’s rapidly growing operations in Western Canada. Mr. Kirby brings more than 16 years of experience, comprised of sales, sales training, recruitment and most importantly, management in medium to large size private companies to this position. Most recently, Matt was responsible for the rapid and consistent growth of a private Western Canadian based finance company, winning numerous awards for exceeding sales targets and developing a highly successful sales team. In addition to his work in the finance industry, Mr. Kirby also has diverse experience in marketing, manufacturing, importing, and company development from the ground floor.
Meridian Financial Services has been specializing in the development of the mortgage brokerage industry since the first location opened in Coquitlam in 1995. Controlled growth has seen franchise offices open throughout British Columbia and Alberta, specifically associated with independently owned real estate, financial planning and general insurance offices.

Meridian currently has over 50 lenders on their system, including BNS, BMO, CIBC Firstline, TDCT, HSBC, ING Direct and most major credit unions in Canada.
