Inn and Bed & Breakfast Brokerage and Consulting Firm Expands into Maine and New England
After years of specialized brokerage and consulting services to innkeepers in mid-Atlantic and southern states, The B&B Team, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its first New England office, in Kennebunk, Maine, to handle brokerage clients in Maine and consulting clients throughout New England.
Leading the new office will be Rick and Janet Wolf, former owners of the Captain Fairfield Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine. Rick has an extensive corporate marketing background with Levi Strauss & Co., Outlast Technologies, Inc., and as a hospitality and operational consultant with Concept Group USA and Oates & Bredfeldt, LLC.

With his and Janet’s successful innkeeping experience teamed with Rick’s business background in sales, marketing and new business development with high profile companies and clients, he will be a valuable asset to The B&B Team,” said Peter Scherman, Founder. Scherman has been a frequent speaker at innkeeping conferences on a state and national level and has published numerous articles about industry operations.
The B&B Team will provide niche real estate brokerage to owners, and aspiring innkeepers, of Bed and Breakfasts and Country Inns. Additionally, the firm consults on innkeeping matters relating to valuations and feasibility, finance, operations, marketing, and design.
The B&B Team, Inc. was licensed and established in 1993 in Charlottesville, Virginia by Peter Scherman. Since then the firm has become licensed in WV, NC, MD, and now Maine, providing brokerage services tailored to current and future owners of bed & breakfasts and country inns. |
