New Early Warning Monitor to Prevent Leach Field Failure.
Let's face it, as much as we all wish it wouldn't happen, leach fields fail. And when they do, it's a real mess for the homeowner or facilities manager. No one likes to find sewage on their lawn, or backed up into their house. If there were a way to know when a leach field was going to fail, before it happened, one could avoid the mess and crisis by taking preventative steps. Finally there is a simple and cost effective tool designed for just this purpose - The Septic Sentry, by Aeration Systems.
Aeration Systems, LLC has introduced a new sensor designed to detect failure of a wastewater disposal area or "leach field", before it happens. This new technology, called Septic Sentry, allows facilities managers and homeowners to monitor levels of water in the leach field and detect failure before wastewater backs up into the house, or breaks out onto the lawn. Armed with this information, homeowners and facilities managers can plan in advance how to deal with the situation and avoid messy and expensive clean up. This tool is perfectly suited to large commercial systems, environmentally sensitive areas, and by conscientious homeowners who like to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Easy to install, and with little or no maintenance required, the Septic Sentry is designed to last longer than the leach field that is being monitored. One or more small sensors are placed directly into the leach field and send information to a control panel. The control panel has multiple configurations, from a simple high water alarm, to data loggers, to modem connections for remote monitoring. This flexibility allows for the Septic Sentry to be installed in virtually every leach field type, from single-family to large commercial systems.
