MORTGAGE BROKER WANTS HISPANICS TO ACHIEVE FINANCIAL STABILITY

Bernie Garcia of Dallas' Preston Lending Mortgage says "home ownership is the single most important investment for immigrants wanting to realize their American dream". Garcia says "the immigration boom in the last decade has created a incredible demand for homes, primarily within Hispanics living in North Texas".

Garcia's comments are based on a recent study released by "Dallas International", a non profit cultural organization that recognizes Dallas as the fastest growing metropolitan area in the U.S. "Yet, in light of the demand for housing", Garcia says, "There's very few mortgage companies catering to Hispanics in their own language who aren't just translators and processors. My staff and myself are all Mexican born Hispanics. We truly understand our customer's culture and lifestyle. We are one of them. Not any mortgage company can do that".

Dallas homeowners Jose and Marta Vega recently called on Garcia's services in a recent refinancing of their home. Vega says he saved thousands of dollars and cut many years on his loan. "The experience of having everything explained in Spanish was extremely helpful", Vega says, "When I had questions they were able to answer them in my own language, I was very satisfied. I've already recommended them to several of my friends"

Garcia says, "For Hispanics, buying a home is a very important goal in life, especially when nearly 80 percent of all Mexican Hispanics already own a home in their native country. We become their friend, their advisor, we make them feel comfortable and excited about the most important investment in their lives and we are very proud of that".

Today, Garcia continues his personal campaign and encourages Hispanics to rise up the ranks and become financially stable. There's an ad campaign in the works as well as a series of seminars that Garcia hopes will ultimately empower all Hispanics in North Texas.
