RealtyMatch, a unique real estate agent referral service is now available to home buyers and sellers in the entire Phoenix metropolitan area. This creative new company will provide a service that does not currently exist in the Valley.
RealtyMatch has a database filled with information on real estate agents from various parts of the Valley that work with for the top real estate agencies. Each agent has filled out an extensive questionnaire pinpointing the exact areas of real estate they have knowledge in or, with required proof of extensive experience, specialize in. The customer comes into the office and sits down with a counselor who helps them narrow down what they need in a Real Estate Professional. Whether the need is someone who specializes in a certain geographical area, price range, golf course community, investment property, or someone who speaks another language, RealtyMatch can make the connection. The match is done and the customer is able to choose who they will work with based on what criteria is important to them. This allows people access to make an informed decision about who will be their agent to help them make what is likely the biggest investment they will ever make. This service is free to the public.
Jean Pomeroy, a former valley agent, hatched the idea for RealtyMatch from comments made by her past clients. Many times Jean would be praised by her client for the service she provided, then told a horror story about that person’s last real estate transaction. Jean realized in many of the cases the first thing she would be told was how the former agent was very nice, however, they had no idea about the areas of real estate that client needed and they ended up having a terrible experience. Jean felt that the public had a general misconception that most real estate agents were less than perfect.
Most of the active agents in the valley are very good agents when working with people within their area of expertise. Also, agents that have successful careers tend to specialize in a handful of areas regarding real estate. With this insight Jean realized that there needed to be a way to match up buyers and sellers with an agent that specialized in that person’s unique needs. After doing some investigating Jean found that the only referral services that existed were internet based an used very little criteria to choose from. Jean realized this was a need by the public that was not getting met.
