Community-Values Based Marketing Forum for Mortgage Brokers

DonationChannel Inc. announces the launch of a new service for mortgage brokers and lending institutions, a subscription based service supporting their marketing exposure to parents of their community in return for their donations to schools and educational foundations.

"This is a completely novel way for lenders to market themselves to their best potential clients - parents. The DonationChannel provides an easy to use way for agents and schools to sign up, transact and monitor the donation process" said Gabriel Gross, President and Founder of DonationChannel Inc.

Gail Wright, Owner of BayAreaLending.com and one of the first brokers to sign up to the service said: "The DonationChannel concept is great for real estate professionals because our business is so much dependent on establishing a trust relationship with our community. Helping local schools and charities with donations is possibly the best way to achieve that, and the DonationChannel offers a great forum to get exposure and referrals for our community involvement."

The Donation Channel website at www.donationchannel.org makes it very easy for real estate related professionals to sign up and commit to donate a percentage of their future real estate transactions to schools of their choice. In return, they gain the ability to promote themselves to their community with the "DonationChannel Seal of Contribution to the Community" - an online and print based distinction that they may use to set themselves apart from the rest of the real estate crowd. Schools may also choose to sign up free of charge with the DonationChannel and may agree to actively promote to parents those agents who have committed donations to the school. Community members -for example parents - who wish to engage a real estate agent for a sale or purchase of a property can check, using the same website, the donation records of participating agents.

The DonationChannel fills an important gap in the revenue generation of schools; until today, schools complemented their state funding with moneys raised by selling Scrip, eScrip, and various benefit events. There was no organized and monitored way available for real estate agents and mortgage brokers to make contributions and get community recognition for their actions. On the other hand, real estate is the biggest monetary transaction and parents are intrinsically interested in adequate funding of their schools and will weigh in their decision which agent to use the community service of any agent under consideration. The Donation Channel provides real estate professionals an effective way to spend their marketing dollars in a way that gets them excellent exposure, and serves as a valuable listing tool, while at the same time benefiting the communities they serve.

The DonationChannel also offers other free fundraising and collaboration tools to participating schools.
