Supply and Service’s integrated facility technology
Evolved Systems, Inc. (dba Supply and Service), provider of facility operations technology, announced today that Bechtel SAIC Company, LLC selected Supply and Service’s softWrench™, web based work order management system, MAXIMO®, the leading CMMS System, and Mobile Suite, work management for technicians in the field. Supply and Service is partnering with SpacePlan, FM to provide complete Space and Move Management systems.
Bechtel SAIC Company, LLC draws on the world-class research, engineering and nuclear science capabilities of Bechtel National and Science Applications International Corporation to meet the unique challenge of science and engineering for the Yucca Mountain Project. Bechtel SAIC manages and operates the Yucca Mountain program and support extensive DOE studies of Yucca Mountain’s geology, hydrology, and climate.
Supply and Service along with SpacePlan FM will implement, train and provide continued support for the following applications and features:
•Combine all Facilities data into one centralized data repository. • Capture the property and equipment inventory, validate locations and place into a centrally accessible repository. • Build a Facilities Intranet site with softWrench, web based Maintenance Management system for Facility Requests and Preventative Maintenance tasks. • Visually display all floor plans, personnel and assets for web access by authorized users. • Display portfolio floor plans depicting departmental assignments/usage of space/occupancy. • Automated the move, add and exit personnel and asset requests via the softWrench interface. • Generate critical Facilities Reports and Rentable Square Footage (RSF) calculations and departmental allocations. • Track customer satisfaction.
Ted Ritter, President of Supply and Service commented that “The implementation of these tools along with some changes to current facility management processes will decrease Bechtel’s infrastructure costs, increase productivity, and optimize forecasting and planning. We look forward to working with Bechtel in implementing and optimizing their facility applications and processes”.
The solutions chosen are completely integrated and provide internet access to key information pertaining to the properties management by the Bechtel SAIC Company Facilities Department. softWrench and MAXMO are primary elements of the integrated system, providing web access to key information. Additionally, the system organizes and maintains the textual and visual data in a dynamic manner that allows users of the data to make more informed decisions, create reports and generally manage the facility portfolio with consistent standard methods. The system will deliver operational and budgetary reports that can be run against information contained in the system at any time.
