Historical Old Fort is a charming and unassuming mountain community with tourist appeal. The nationally famous “Friday Night Mountain Music Gathering” featuring local and visiting traditional mountain musicians as heard in the movie “ Oh Brother Where Art Though”. You never know who may show up and fiddle. Saturday evenings provide antique enthusiasts with entertainment at a local auction house in the downtown of ”Gateway To The Mountains”.
