CirclePix.com and NEFAR Sign Provider Agreement
Virtual tour provider Circlepix.com announced it has signed an agreement with the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) to become the preferred provider of virtual tours for the Association. The agreement includes cross-promotion, seminars for Association members, website collaboration, and other partnership arrangements.
“CirclePix has demonstrated an unmatched commitment to service and quality, at the lowest prices in the marketplace,” Ron Stephan, President of NEFAR, said in a prepared statement. “We have a great relationship with Regional Director Vicki Harr, and we know she will do an outstanding job of servicing our membership.”
Harr said, “CirclePix is the fastest-growing virtual tour provider in Florida, and we are very excited to show what we can do. I look forward to meeting with all of the Association members and showing them what our service can do to make them stand out in the marketplace.”
NEFAR has scheduled CirclePix marketing executive Chris Jones for a four-hour seminar on June 4. The seminar will feature listing tools for agents, a recap of recent technological innovations in real estate, and overviews of sales techniques. Mr. Jones is an internationally-known speaker with appearances on CNN, MSNBC, and C-Span, and at trade shows from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. All members of NEFAR are invited to attend.
“Virtual tours” is an industry name for a photographic process that allows an individual to view a room as if he were standing in it and turning to look at every angle. The technology gives a potential buyer a much better idea of the space, light, and architecture of residential houses, hotels, nursing homes – even boats - anywhere that a physical tour would be useful. Allowing the buyer or renter to see the property as if he were actually there – to “virtually tour” the property – give the technology its name.
The tours are hosted on the Internet and allow buyers to tour properties from any location with web access. Data show that over 80% of homebuyers begin their search for property on the Internet, an increasingly crowded market where sellers are looking for ways to stand out from the crowd.
Circlepix.com, one of the industry leaders in virtual tours and 360-degree imaging technology, is aggressively expanding eastward after a focus on the western United States. The company is nearly four years old, privately held, and growing rapidly. “No company could be prouder than we are today,” Robert Davis, CirclePix CEO said, “NEFAR and other REALTOR® associations form a key component of our service base and let members of these organizations get great prices and terrific service for an increasingly necessary piece of technology.”
“Vicki Harr is one of the brightest business stars in that area. She is one of our top managers,” Davis continued. Harr herself explained her business philosophy. “In any industry, it’s the service that matters. I have a commitment to customer service that demands the best from myself. I can guarantee our customers better service, lower price, and better quality than they can find anywhere else.”
Industry standard virtual tours, consisting of 4 to 5 “virtual” pictures (360-degree photographs), combined with one or two still photographs, cost in the neighborhood of $100, ranging sometimes to as much as $150, with additional charges for photos beyond the basic package. CirclePix certainly has an advantage here – the basic CirclePix tour is just $59.95 for five virtual photos. Even the Master Tour, a CirclePix exclusive, consisting of ten virtual shots and ten still photos, is only $89.95, a significant value in a crowded market.
“Real estate agents, rental property owners, condo associations, even cities and sports franchises are looking to technology to give them a marketing edge. CirclePix can provide that edge. We’re excited to show our partners what we can do to give them an advantage,” Harr said. |
