National real estate firm sets out to raise $25,000 for cancer research.
"This is a good cause, and we will donate all of our corporate share of revenue this month." says Ken Chipman, President of FlexBuy Lease Option Homes. "Our current charity is The Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Research Fund.
FlexBuy is committed to making change happen, both professionally and in society, and we're betting that others will follow our lead. We intend to raise at least $25,000 in February by placing buyers in lease/option homes around the country." Chipman says.
FlexBuy assists credit-challenged renters to become home buyers by putting them in homes under a lease with option to purchase, and then helping them build their credit so they can get financed.
"The challenge to meeting this goal is getting enough homes from flexible sellers." Lenders, realtors, and investors can assist FlexBuy during February by making a $50 donation to The Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Research Fund. "We have a good Internet presence which brings us lots of buyers, but homes are in short supply."
"To help meet this worthwhile goal, we are running specials to increase business. It helps to have affiliates sending us buyers and sellers, so we're waiving our affiliate enrollment fees if they'll donate to the charity," says Chipman. "Affiliates shouldn't just think of this donation as charitable, it actually creates income for them. Some of our affiliates may even decide to donate part of their share of earnings to help meet the goal."
"Of course we'd also like to hear from any home sellers out there."
Mr. Chipman has been in the real estate business since 1986 in this area. He started FlexBuy about a year ago, and has hundreds of buyers and sellers in the database.
