Rare Balinese Masks, Wood Carvings And Other Indonesian Handicraft Available At New Website

"Our website http://www.CulturalArtifacts.com features rare carvings of particular interest to collectors." states the owner and founder, Trevor Dodd. "Most of our masks are more than 20 years old, some are much older. Many were used as actual dance masks in reenacting Balinese epic dramas".

The Cultural Artifacts website includes descriptive tutorials about Bali, its art and culture, to help convey the unique qualities of these traditional artifacts. As the website evolves, the intention is to help visitors further explore the background and culture surrounding these unique creations from Balinese artisans.

"We will continue to add more photographs, artifacts and cultural information to the website over the coming weeks. We have also added a number of more whimsical carvings and will be adding more as Christmas approaches."

A sampling of the rare and unusual Balinese handicrafts offered for sale on the Cultural Artifacts websites includes exotic wood carvings of traditional and theatrical masks, Garuda the bird God from Hindu mythology, flying mythological creatures, and various unique décor creations. Also offered is three-dimensional art, commissioned and crafted on the Island.

About Cultural Artifacts
Trevor and Debby Dodd created Cultural Artifacts as an expression for their passion for wood carvings and exotic travel. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Trevor has lived in Iran, Russia, Scandinavia, and a number of Far Eastern countries.

While In Asia, Trevor and Debby traveled throughout the region collecting artifacts. They developed a particular passion for Balinese artistry after becoming familiar with their culture, creativity and work ethic.
