Growing Housing Demands in Littleton, NH Encourage Business Partnering

Two NH businessmen, Herbert Lahout and James Powers have combined resources to help ease the deficit in an expanding homebuyers market in the growing Littleton area.

Lahout's Property Development and Northern Acres plan to build their first joint venture Cape style house next month. Lahout, local apartment builder and landlord, explained his decision to build on this particular home site was due to a number of unique features. The lot is located less than a mile from downtown and close to Interstate 93. Plus, it accesses town water and sewer while offering fantastic panoramic views of Littleton.

The home site on Cottage Street (across from the VFW) is one of several for sale in the area by Powers’ company Northern Acres. The land company has successfully developed and sold many residential home sites in the area, most notably, “Southwatch at Remich Park” ideally located within walking distance to downtown Littleton. Northern Acres is planning to offer several other parcels for sale in Littleton during the next several months, which will feature stonewalls, meadows, mountain and water views.

Tucker Brook Builders, Northern Acres’ homes division, plans to build several homes in the communities of Bethlehem, Franconia, and Littleton over the next twelve months. For more information about land and homes call Northern Acres toll free 1-877-640-LAND or visit them on the web at: www.northernacres.com.
