Meyer & Wallis Launches New Campaign for Shorewest Realtors

While it’s a good idea to plant flowers to add curb appeal when selling your home, it’s not easy digging into the soil in the middle of February. A better idea? Have Shorewest plant a sign in your yard. (New TV spots are available for viewing at www.meyerwallis.com/whatsnew).

Meyer & Wallis is launching a new 2004 campaign for Shorewest Realtors this month that puts a comedic spin on home selling tips. The ads are meant to communicate that while there are many tips on selling a home, Shorewest is the only tip that buyers and sellers need.

“With our knowledgeable associates, aggressive marketing, and dominant market share, the only tip you need is having the Shorewest team behind you,” said John Paul Horning, Executive Vice President of Shorewest Realtors.

“We are excited about Shorewest’s new campaign and we are delighted to help with their continued growth and success,” said Scott Rackham, President of Meyer & Wallis. “Last year was a record year for them. We hope to help make 2004 even better.”

“The campaign has the aura of leadership that only Shorewest can claim. It reaffirms their dominance in the marketplace,” said Tom Dixon, Vice President and Creative Director at Meyer & Wallis who conceptualized the ads.

“Executionally, we are tapping into home selling tips that people can identify with and using humorous scenarios as a springboard to deliver Shorewest’s leadership message,” said Dixon. With three times more listings in Metro Milwaukee than the nearest competitor, Shorewest holds the position as Wisconsin’s largest home seller.

Shorewest Realtors’ new home tips campaign will be introduced in a media blitz. The campaign includes billboard, television, and radio creative. Part of the television strategy is using 15-second “book end” concepts that will double the messages that can be conveyed and double the number of impressions. “The creative concepts are simple and concise enough for us to do that,” said Dixon. Television spots will open and close scheduled commercial pods on all major stations in the Milwaukee DMA.

Shorewest Realtors, Wisconsin’s largest home seller every year since 1951, is a nationally recognized, family owned realtor. With 18 offices and 900 sales associates, they are committed to unsurpassed customer service in Southeastern Wisconsin. Shorewest provides closing, title, mortgage, and relocation services and closed nearly $2.3 billion in sales in 2003. They are Wisconsin’s exclusive affiliate of Christie’s Great Estates for the area’s finest properties. To learn more about Shorewest, visit www.shorewest.com.
