1031 Exchange Corporation Comes To Langhorne
An effective 1031 exchange allows real estate investors to sell their investment property and purchase a replacement property, while deferring the 15%-20% capital gains and depreciation recapture taxes, normally paid. In additional to the tax deferral an exchange can accomplish other investment objectives like; changing property types, increasing cash flow, consolidation of properties, relocation and estate planning.
Heather Mentz, President of Accurate Exchange, Inc., says, “Considering the way property values have increased over the last few years, many sellers are facing taxation on up to $100,000 in capital gains. That’s a cost of $20,000 out of their profits, just in payments to the IRS. This makes Accurate Exchange’s price of $750, in order to defer the tax, a pretty attractive solution.”
Accurate Exchange, Inc. is building a network of real estate and tax professionals in order to increase awareness and education of the Exchange option. If you are a real estate investor and you want more information regarding the role of a 1031 corporation, or you are a real estate and/or tax professional and want to learn more about a 1031 exchange and its benefits to your clients, please feel free to contact us at anytime at (215) 702-1031.
