Highest Bidder to Win $2.3 Million Mansion - Bids Start at Less than $1 Million

You could soon be living in a gorgeous 11,676 sq. foot mansion on the Atlanta National Country Club, and about $1 million in instant equity to enhance your net worth. That is just the start of the incredible opportunity that awaits the winner of a most unique auction for this outstanding home, an offer that has already attracted interest from investors nearby and as far away as Germany and Spain.

It is rare to see a mansion of this quality and price range for sale by owner (FSBO, or fizbo), and it is even more rare for it to be sold through a round robin phone auction to the highest bidder. The appraised value of $2.3 million and the starting price of less than $1 million offers investors an opportunity to pick up a million or more in instant equity.

Visser said his method of selling is best for him and for the buyer.

“The entire process of showing the home and then selling it in one weekend is the fastest way I know of to sell my house,” explained Visser. “We set the opening bid low and will let the bidders decide what to do from there. Bids are not legally binding, so there is no risk to bidders. The entire process is safe for all parties, and it enables us to all save by avoiding the fees that would go to a real estate agent and broker. This is a win-win situation for everyone.”

Interested parties must visit and tour the home on Saturday, May 15 or Sunday May 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. before placing a bid. The house will be sold to the highest and best bidder on Sunday evening May 16 through a telephone round robin bidding process that will begin Sunday night at 8 p.m.

Phone calls will be made to each bidder, and each will be given the opportunity to top the highest bid. Return calls will be made until only one bidder remains. The highest bidder will then be offered the opportunity to purchase the home at his bid price, and will be given 30 days to obtain financing. If that bidder is unable to complete the process the next highest bidder will be contacted, according to Visser.

The house is located in an exclusive subdivision with gated access and guards to ensure privacy and security, in addition to the home being situated in a quiet cul de sac. One of the most striking features is the Grand Room with it's 30 ft. ceilings and 180 degree windows.

The traditional European style conveys an image of wealth, status, and luxury and it is built on 4.56 acres. The enormous patio opens out to a beautiful private swimming pool and hot tub with a perfectly landscaped yard that is fully fenced.

In addition the house has five bedrooms, 7.5 baths, media room, billiard room, spacious kitchen, office, bonus room, keeping room (family room), “mud” room, butler’s pantry, and much more with all the luxury features expected in such a home.

It has plenty of room for all your vehicles and toys with an oversized three-car garage and separate two-car RV garage with an in-law or servant’s apartment above.

The house is only three years old, has many more features that are fully detailed at http://AtlantaNationalHome.com, where complete information about the auction can also be found.
