Music Makes the World Go Round at Steven D. Bell & Co. Apartment Communities
Steven D. Bell & Co., Management Company of six apartment communities in the Triangle, is using music as a way to give back to the local community by hosting several fundraisers to benefit local high school music departments.
Throughout the summer, Bell properties like Notting Hill Apartments of Chapel Hill will host a small festival, called BellFest, to raise money for a local high school marching band. “Music speaks to all ages and races,” says Christie Hadden of Steven D. Bell & Co., “and what better way to promote harmony within the community than to support children whose passion is music.” Public schools’ music departments are under-funded; where most budgets can’t even cover the cost of transportation to games. The money raised will go towards reducing the children’s out-of-pocket expenses. At BellFest, individuals can meet local merchants, donate blood, and participate in a Bell Idol karaoke contest.
In addition to BellFest, communities will be giving away VIP packages to summer concerts at Alltel Pavilion as rental incentives and will be hosting live music concerts as residents come home from work.
The following is the list of tentative dates of BellFest along with the name of the hosting Steven D. Bell & Co. apartment community.
